The Chinese word for time, 时间, has two parts:
时, shí—a moment. 间, jiān—the space between.
Time is not merely the mechanical ticking of a clock, nor a ruthless commander marching us through our to-do lists.
Time is the infinite spaciousness hidden between one moment and the next.
Within each interval rests a sacred seed of the cosmos, waiting to germinate, to open like a tender pink lotus.
When we pause and listen, we cannot help but be moved— lifted and gently swirled by its unfolding beauty,
like tiny ants drinking drops of sweet dew from the petals, reveling in a world far greater than themselves.
The dance above is wordless poetry composed by movements and music flowing from a spontaneous moment. This is in collaboration with Daelinar, the flutist. Find out more about his music and art at Brightwolf Creation.
